I think the art criticism process is getting advice on a piece from multiple sources and making helpful changes as you go along making the piece. I did my grandfather for this piece. I chose him because we are very close and I had a good idea for his piece. The background for this piece is an Air Force jet and a guitar. My grandfather was in the Air Force and he has always played the guitar. I used Prisma colored pencils on black matboard to create the portrait because the pencils popped out on the black board.
