This drawing was a famous painting mixed with a cartoon character. Since we had pop art, we decided to morph Andy Warhol's painting of Marilyn Monroe and Bart Simpson. Pop art was in New York City during the 1960's which the movements drawings made their art from popular culture objects, people, and items. Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein were two famous artists from that movement. The painting of Marilyn Monroe was just her face and Bart Simpson had relatively easy face to draw and morph with. We put in all the make up details that was in the real painting.
